The crash occurred on Route 31 in Glen Gardner just before 2:15 p.m., NJSP Tpr. Brandi Slota told Daily Voice.

Initial reports stated that the crash involved a head-on tractor-trailer collision and trapped the victim.

One person was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center, Slota said.

The crash remained under investigation.
